The Nordic Swan Ecolabel guarantees minimal environmental impact from printed materials. Our ISO 14001 certification, coupled with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, ensures stringent control over individual products and our company’s overall environmental footprint.
FSC® Certification
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) promotes environmentally and socially responsible forestry practices. FSC certification is awarded to printed materials sourced from responsibly managed forests. In 2000, Eversfrank became the world’s first FSC-certified heatset printing company.
PEFC™ Certification
The Pan-European Forest Certification (PEFC) promotes sustainable forestry practices across Europe. PEFC-certified printed materials ensure traceability from forest to consumer, promoting environmental, social, and economic responsibility. Eversfrank obtained PEFC certification in 2010.
ISO 14001 environmental management
ISO 14001 is an environmental management system that guides systematic efforts to minimize a company’s environmental impact. Eversfrank’s ISO 14001 system addresses both external environmental factors and internal workplace environments. We received ISO 14001 certification initially in 1997.
Carbon emissions offsetting
Eversfrank pioneered the use of the ClimateCalc tool in Denmark, which calculates the carbon footprint of printed materials. This enables precise carbon footprint calculations for print jobs and offers carbon offsetting through the purchase of carbon credits.
