The Nordic Swan Ecolabel guarantees minimal environmental impact from printed materials. Our ISO 14001 certification, coupled with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, ensures stringent control over individual products and our company’s overall environmental footprint.
FSC® Certification
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) promotes environmentally and socially responsible forestry practices. FSC certification is awarded to printed materials sourced from responsibly managed forests. In 2000, Eversfrank became the world’s first FSC-certified heatset printing company.
PEFC Certification
The Pan-European Forest Certification (PEFC) promotes sustainable forestry practices across Europe. PEFC-certified printed materials ensure traceability from forest to consumer, promoting environmental, social, and economic responsibility. Eversfrank obtained PEFC certification in 2010.
Blauer Engel
The “Blauer Engel” sets demanding standards for environmentally friendly products and services and serves as a guide for sustainable purchasing.
The “Blauer Engel” for printed products takes into account all materials used in the manufacture of the product. We have had the new print-specific Blue Angel UZ 195 since 2016.
EMAS
Resource-saving environmental management with EMAS.
Business and the environment must go hand in hand—and they can. With the European environmental management system EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme), companies are able to save resources intelligently.
We have been EMAS certified since 1998.
