Premium PSO Certification of the Meldorf and Preetz Sites

This year, the Eversfrank Group’s Preetz and Meldorf sites were once again awarded the Premium-PSO certificate.

During the Premium-PSO certification, the pre-press and printing processes were tested for the following points:

• Proof printing
• Printing plate production
• Set-up of print jobs & print run

The Preetz facility was audited for web offset, while the Meldorf facility was audited for both web and sheetfed offset. Meldorf has now been certified to Premium PSO for the fifth time in sheetfed offset and passed the audit for the first time on the substrate “LWC Improved” in web offset. The printing processes at both sites were also audited in conformity with FOGRA51.

For our customers, this certification means, among other things, greater quality assurance, greater deadline reliability, consistent quality for repetitive jobs and the same colour reproduction for different print jobs of a product (e.g. one product distributed on different machines).
